During my college days, I remember imagining only one type of job for myself - one that I could do remotely. I may not have known what form such a position would take, but I was sure about one thing – I didn’t want to be bound to a single location and spend my time trapped, staring at the same four walls day in, day out. I aspired to be an entrepreneur, therefore dreaming of living on my own terms and enjoying all the flexibility life could provide. Have you ever had the feeling that you are not very clear about the career you want to pursue, but know for sure that it is not a cubicle office? I certainly did. I tried to find multiple courses and think of possible career options that would align with my dreams. I was looking for something artistic, entertaining, and flexible enough to allow me to travel. Sadly, most of what I encountered either did not interest me or, worse, left me more lost than when I set out trying to find answers. Consequently, the concept of traditional 9-to-5 job began to seem more realistic, and I had no clue if I was ready to embrace this shift. What if you could integrate everything you love into one job, such as flexibility, creative work, and even working remotely? Well, I recently discovered something that made it all click. My discovery was digital marketing, which is exactly what I was looking for - a career that provides creativity and flexibility working location wise.
